TACTICAL COMBAT. SHIFTING WALLS.

Monumentum delivers the crushing positional depth of a heavy miniatures wargame without the rulebook bloat.

Simple Tools, High Agency

Every champion and familiar is defined by streamlined, thematic abilities that are instantly understood. The depth comes from agency; you have the freedom to invent creative solutions to tactical problems, turning simple pushes and blocks into game-winning traps. The rules get out of the way so the strategy can shine.

Limitless Layouts, Instant Setup

Forget spending twenty minutes placing trees (let alone storing them). The arena is built from modular tiles revealed as quickly as playing cards. This creates a new, complex labyrinth every single time, forcing you to adapt your strategy to the terrain from turn one.

Cinematic Resolution

Combat is fast, tactile, and dramatic. Using a unique ranked pattern matching system, you roll custom dice for triples, pairs, and singles. It replaces mental arithmetic with the visceral excitement of a poker showdown.

Strategic Assembly

Build your force from diverse factions: from the brute-force Rhavlika to the swarming Iro-Si-Khar. The clash between your bespoke cast and the unpredictable map guarantees that no two battles ever tell the same story.

The Art of the Duel

In Monumentum, combat is a dramatic exchange where the attacker dictates the terms of the engagement, and the defender must find the strength to survive it.

1. Size Up

Check the disparity between your stats. An even match grants both players three dice. However, a major mismatch awards the dominant character six dice. You roll the full pool, then select the best three to form your rank. Be warned: if your prowess is dwarfed by their fortitude, it is your opponent who claims the six dice.

2. Set the Challenge

The attacker rolls first, hunting for patterns to build the highest possible "Rank" - triple, pairs, or singles. A perfect roll of three matching symbols is an unblockable masterstroke that the defender cannot block, whereas rolling all blanks is an immediate failure that ends the action.

3. Roll with the Punches

Unless the attack is unblockable or whiffs, the defender must roll to survive. To avoid the blow, the defender must achieve a higher rank than the attacker. If the attacker sets the bar at a pair, the defender must roll a triple to turn the blade aside.

4. Assess the Damage

If the attack connects, the impact is devastating. Your winning rank determines both your base damage and your bonus potential. A winning triple deals three flat damage and allows you to roll three dice for bonus impact, while a single deals one damage and only one die of potential bonus. For damage the different symbols do not matter, each is worth one point of damage.

SET THE SCENE

A Puzzle, Revealed

The arena is built from 36 modular tiles, shuffled, rotated, and dealt into a 6x6 grid before the game begins. While the walls do not shift during battle, the layout is never the same twice. Before you even deploy your champion, you must analyze the unique geometry of this specific arena; identifying chokepoints, sightlines, and flanking lanes.

The Fonts of Power

Pulsing at key locations are fonts of vitae potentia; a condensed, ancient magic of mysterious origin. This energy is the only currency that matters. You must push into the labyrinth to control these fonts, forcing engagement in the most dangerous parts of the board.

A Fresh Myth

Monumentum is a world of vibrant color and high adventure. It presents a fantasy setting in a "classical era" where the aesthetics of ancient civilizations meet the spectacle of elemental magic. From the sun-drenched armor of the Voisira to the glowing fissures of the Rhavlika, the world feels alive, ancient, and untamed.

THE TOURNAMENT OF RULERS

Within the infinite walls of Monumentum - a plane of existence distinct from our own - champions from across space and time compete for the ultimate prize: the Crown of the Emperor. But the path to the throne is paved with vitae potentia, the ancient essence of creation.

The Rhavlika Confederacy

The Unstoppable Juggernaut

Led by Flint Dross, a benevolent sovereign, Rhavlika fights not for conquest, but to maintain a lasting peace in a world fractured by chaos. On the tabletop, they are brute-force engines. Utilizing their unique Running Hot mechanic, their constructs - torn from the land itself - become empowered when 'Molten'. You must decide when to gain heat and when to expend it for explosive consequences.

Iro-Si-Khar

The Relentless Tide

Emerging from the secluded depths to claim their rightful place, the Iro-Si-Khar bring a fresh, albeit naive, hope to the Tournament. Princess Ripple Elshara leads with a desire for unity, but do not mistake kindness for weakness. This faction floods the board with expendable water-constructs. Using their numbers and Fluid Bodies to bypass defenses, they drown the enemy in a sea of overwhelming attacks.

United Cities of Voisira

Masters of Control

While the United Cities are strangled by the grip of corrupt guilds, Lark, an enigmatic revolutionary, fights to break the system from within. Commanding a legion of enchanted avian predators; Voisira dictates the flow of battle from a distance. They are masters of board control, utilizing Overwatch to pin enemies down before their birds swoop in to deliver precise, lethal strikes from across the labyrinth.
